OliviaParcker My ideas as posted above were not fully thought through. Here is what I would like to see added to Machform: "Select Fields" views, which I think is a more descriptive name for what I am talking about that "Select Fields" templates.
This would take the current "Select Fields" functionality and add the ability to save any arrangement of columns you create by showing and hiding fields as a "view" which could be selected from a drop down menu to restore that arrangement. This way you could quickly and easily switch between different arrangements of columns, which would make looking through data from a form with a great many fields much more convenient, especially if the ability to reorder fields was added in addition to just being able to select which fields to show or hide. These views would be associated with specific user accounts and could be managed (edited, duplicated, deleted).
Full Machform administrators could grant the ability to "publish" "Select Fields" views to users on a user-by-user basis. "Publishing" a "Select Fields" view would assign it to the form and make it available for all users with access to the form. It would appear in the "Select Fields" views menu for all users with access to the form, even if they hadn't saved any views themselves. No user, other than the one who published the "Select Fields" view, would be able to edit or delete it, but they could duplicate it and edit the copy.
