reCaptcha not showing up

This site is best viewed in a modern browser with JavaScript enabled.

So, I have a form with Spam Protection turned on. It is set to Simple Text.

It works the first time I submit a form, but does not work on subsequent submissions.

Is this a bug or something done on purpose ? Does it just assume that I am not a bot since it is the same computer or IP address ?

You may be correct, when testing some of my forms the captcha doesn't always show up if I have entered it once. May store some record as a cookie or something.

It's probably a session cookie and expires when the browser is closed. So for the current session (as long as the browser remains open) it knows "you are you" when you submit the form again.

Try the following; on having submitted one form, close down the browser, reopen and reload the form. Does the captcha field come back? or if you clear the browser cookies does it come back...or in a different browser

Once the CAPTCHA being validated for a session, the user won’t need to fill it again indeed. This behavior is normal and introduce on version 3.3 .

Clear the browser cache would make the captcha displayed again.
