Hello!
Our team has been using MF (self-hosted) for years now - absolutely love it! - but we've come across an issue that has stumped us. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and can help?
Most of the time, we host our WordPress sites on Flywheel, but per client request, we recently migrated her site over to GoDaddy's new-ish Managed WordPress hosting. I made sure to copy the form files over, and I imported the backup database in the SQL section, but I get this error when attempting to access/login to the forms:
Error connecting to the database: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2005] Unknown MySQL server host 'j49a3665595213.db.3665595.hostedresource.com:3306' (0)
During my initial call with GoDaddy, they said I simply had to change the IP address to redirect the form to the right place (or something like that). They showed me how to get the IP address, which I gave to our developer and he said, no problem, that should make it work.
Well, it didn't. So he (our developer) reached out to GoDaddy on chat. They didn't seem to understand what he was asking, and ended up escalating to their support team who sent the following reply:
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us in regard to your domain [blahblahblah].com.
As per my understanding, you require to run a separate site under http://[blahblahblah].com/forms/. I've noticed that the /forms/config.php calls the same database "j49a3665595213" from the home directory. However, a different wp_prefix is declared in it. Please be advised that Managed WordPress does not support multisites.
Managed WordPress has more limitations compared to other shared platforms. This is to ensure the stability and security of the WordPress sites hosted in it. If you require to run some WordPress tweaks, I recommend that you check our cPanel plans, see:

Should you have other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our 24/7 support.
My developer says that they are incorrect and that what we are asking them to do is NOT a multisite request. But, having already spent a few hours with GoDaddy with no luck in getting help, I'm reluctant to reach out to them and start all over.
Has anyone else encountered this? I would appreciate any help or guidance you can provide!
Thank you!
