Hello everyone. Is there a trick to be able to send a notification to the user with another attachment (word document, excel table, etc.) than the form already in .pdf
Simply, take any file on the server and put it in attachment in the notification mail.

And to make it even simpler, I would like to insert in a new document the merge tags to not only make a summary of the form data

No trick, it's easy with the File Upload field type.

Just add that field to your form in the form editor, and set the options. By default I think it just saves it to the server, so you have to specify "send as attachment" in the fields properties/options.

You can add html code to your email template. I believe you should be able to add a link to the file on your server in the email, which will allow people to click on the link and download the file. Make sure you have enough bandwidth to the number of downloads you expect to happen.

It is already done for the link, but I wanted to put it in attachment in the mail.

OK - to clarify, you want the 'auto reply' to have this extra file, sent back to the user rather than just the user-submitted files as attachments (that's not what I understood from your original question).

I don't believe you can add the attachment you want, especially not the way you specify. William's way - adding a link to the auto-response email template seems to be the only logical and best way to do so.

I expect it could be done but I don't believe Machform offers free modifications like that where modifying the core code is required.

You could put it on the "wish list" as a feature, to have a custom file to be added to the auto-reply in the configuration screens.
