AMurray Thanks for your reply! Yes I have installed the new version properly by paying attention to which data folder I needed. It brought over all my previous forms and it matched well with the database.
All was well for over a week.
Several entries came flowing in and then some cleanup was done by my manager on Friday. She deleted all 2015 entries and left for the weekend. Then on Monday morning people started complaining about missing entries when viewed within the Machform entries page. I hope that explains things a bit more clear.
Those entries are in the database and I've set the delete (status column?) flag from 1 to 0, thanks for that. However they don't seem to be appearing in the view entries page. Is there another way to set them active from the DB side?
Also, I've now seen that when a notification email is sent the link within the email to visit the entry is always active. As in clicking it brings you to the entry whether it's deleted or not... Shouldn't deleted entries not be seen when viewing the original link?
I believe my biggest question is how to properly restore the deleted entries. Thanks again for your time with this.
UPDATE:
Today's entries have vanished before our eyes. They do not appear in the database at all, and were there while my manager and I where discussing this, then minutes later they are completely gone. Even from the database. I'm beginning to think that there is a process running on its own to "clean up"? Please help. Status: nightmare.
