HTML Template for Custom Notification Mail

Dear Machform Experts,
we are using Machform V10: Form -> Logic Builder -> Enable Rules to Send Notification Emails -> "Custom" Email template to send mails to our customers.

Is it possible to use some HTML email template for this?
At the moment only text will be send to the customer.

Yes, you can use HTML in your custom emails;

If you note in the screenshot, the checkbox option that says "Send email as plain text"..... this suggests the default format will be HTML unless you specify otherwise. Whether using the auto-responders in a logic rule or just using the default responder message mechanism, creating the custom messages is the same.

So try it out - simple markup like bold tags like <strong>, </strong>. I'm not sure how elaborate you can be, but I'm sure you can design a reasonably simple email template, with the field place holders included.

I have made template formatted letters using HTML in a form notifications email.

Some HTML tags don't work, but most do and fine for simple formatted letters and email.

If you need calculations and complex tasks, such as making a downloadable docx using form data, then I use the PHPWord script- example >> https://www.nationalbailiffadvice.uk/Template-Challenge-Private-Parking-Ticket.html

If you need a web form to fill in and download a PDF form, then I find pdfform.php does it well. Example >> https://www.nationalbailiffadvice.uk/Template-n244.html

I got both from github and customised the script to create the document.
