I actually tried that before posting; that is, creating an e-mail account on the server where Machform is installed, thereby getting rid of any outside server issues. Sadly, this has the side-effect of my mail not always being delivered to the recipient, due to often-dirty IP addresses on shared hosts; so it's not an ideal solution. To be clear, my setup has TWO such apps which utilize SMTP for outbound mail, on the same host; one is INVOICE PLANE, and the other is MACHFORM; only the latter has begun to fail as of late with the same third party e-mail provider, using their SMTP creds. Gmail is the only one that now works consistently with Machform; ex: no errors when sending as well as consistent delivery performance.
I was using an older version - 7 actually - when I discovered the failure, but this issue persists in version 12.
Does anyone have any clues as to my other part of my question re: why Machform GROUPS TLS/SSL whereas they can be separated ie: TLS on 587 and SSL on 465?
