We would like to see a function built into Machforms for Auto-updating via the web-interface. I.e. the current system you go to the settings tab and press check for update. It alerts you to a new update and then you need to navigate to a download, unzip, back up some files (or entire directory), backup the MySQL tables, upload the new files, run the updater tool and then done.
It would be great if we could press the settings, check for update, review the change log, press "update" the site is taken offline into maintenance mode, automatically zips the files on the server, puts them into a folder called "machforms_backup" along with a database dump and then performs the update in place for us.
This will be particularly useful as the updates start to roll out at a faster pace! Which we are loving!
