I opened a support ticket for this question and got a quick response.
"You can customize view-functions.php file to disable load javascript function when editing the entries.
Edit the file and go to around line 5933, you will see these codes :"
if(!empty($form->custom_script_enable) && !empty($form->custom_script_url) ){
$custom_script_js = '<script type="text/javascript" src="'.$form->custom_script_url.'"></script>';
}
Then you can change it to one of the three...
This code will disable custom JavaScript --all forms-- in the edit_entry.php
if(!empty($form->custom_script_enable) && !empty($form->custom_script_url) && !$is_edit_entry){
$custom_script_js = '<script type="text/javascript" src="'.$form->custom_script_url.'"></script>';
}
This code will disable custom JavaScript in the --form-- you specify ($form_id == ) change the numbers to match your form.
if(!empty($form->custom_script_enable) && !empty($form->custom_script_url)){
if ($form_id == 123 && !$is_edit_entry) {
$custom_script_js = '<script type="text/javascript" src="'.$form->custom_script_url.'"></script>';
}
}
This code will disable custom JavaScript in the --forms-- you specify ($form_id == ) change the numbers to match your form.
if(!empty($form->custom_script_enable) && !empty($form->custom_script_url)){
if (($form_id == 123 || $form_id == 345 || $form_id == 789) && !$is_edit_entry) {
$custom_script_js = '<script type="text/javascript" src="'.$form->custom_script_url.'"></script>';
}
}
Thanks support!!
